I spend a lot of hours sitting in front of my computer, so a comfortable desk and office chair are important to me. I’ve been using a computer chair I purchased at a local office supply store, and initially it was adequately comfortable for my needs. However, over time the cushioning has become flattened, and it doesn’t really provide much lower back support any longer. I started looking around in local stores for a replacement, but none of the chairs I tried were significantly better. I started reading online about the most popular office chairs, and the Aeron chair from Herman Miller gets many recommendations. I looked into purchasing one of the chairs, but I was knocked out by how expensive they are. I can’t afford spending $900 for a chair, no matter how comfortable it is. I did find one suggestion for getting a good deal on an Aeron. One article I read online said you can often find used Aeron chairs for sale on Craigslist at deeply discounted prices.
